We believe clean period care should mean more than a label — it should have the certifications and standards to back it up.

Proudly one of the only period care brands made in Europe, Collecteur period care is held to some of the highest internationally recognized standards for organic textiles. Our pads are made with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, while our BPA-free compact applicator tampons use OCS-certified organic cotton, with 94.6–100% certified organic cotton depending on absorbency.

Why does that matter? Not all “organic” period care is created equal. Some products in our category carry blended organic certifications that guarantee only 15–20% certified organic content. At Collecteur, our tampons contain 94.6–100% certified organic cotton and our pads are made with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. We believe the products you use on and inside your body should meet a higher standard — so we made ours that way.

And we go beyond organic. Our period care carries OEKO-TEX® certification, meaning materials are independently tested against an extensive list of substances that may be harmful to human health, as well as Dermatest® certification, providing independent dermatological testing for products that come into contact with the skin.

Our period care is made without pesticides, dioxins, fragrances, chlorine, dyes or BPA — substances and materials of concern that have historically been associated with conventional period care and manufacturing processes. These are the products many of us grew up using without ever questioning what was in them.

Research has linked exposure to certain chemicals and environmental contaminants more broadly to serious health concerns, including hormonal and reproductive health effects, certain cancers and neurological conditions. While research continues to evolve around exposure specifically through period products, we believe products used on and inside some of the most intimate areas of the body deserve an exceptionally high standard.

For us, “clean” isn’t a marketing claim. We look to recognized certifications, and rigorous European manufacturing standards to substantiate what goes into our products — and what doesn’t.

Yes. Collecteur tampons are licensed by Health Canada as Class II medical devices and are manufactured in an MDSAP-certified facility

It’s all about the coverage you need. Both our Day and Evening Pads are ultra-thin, comfortable and designed with wings for added protection.

Our Day Pads offer reliable coverage for everyday wear, while our Evening Pads are simply longer in length, giving you added coverage for heavier-flow moments, overnight wear or whenever you want a little extra protection.

We recommend changing your pad approximately every 4–6 hours, or more frequently depending on your flow and comfort. On heavier days, you may find you need to change it more often.

Absolutely. While Collecteur pads are designed with menstrual flow in mind, they can also be used for bladder leaks and everyday protection. Our soft, ultra-thin and absorbent design makes them a comfortable option whenever you’re looking for a little extra coverage and confidence.

Every flow is different — and yours can change from one day to the next. Our Multipack includes all three absorbencies — Light, Regular and Super — so you can find your perfect fit and easily switch it up as your flow changes throughout your cycle.

Wash your hands and unwrap the tampon. Gently extend the inner tube of the compact applicator until it locks into place. Holding the applicator at the grip, gently insert it at a slight angle toward your lower back. Push the inner tube fully into the outer tube to release the tampon, then remove and dispose of the applicator in the garbage.

The string should remain outside your body for easy removal.

Tampons should be changed every 4–8 hours and should never be worn for longer than 8 hours. Always use the lowest absorbency needed for your flow.

Our individually wrapped Body Cloths are made for those moments when you want to feel a little fresher — during your period, on the go, after a workout or whenever you need one.

Gently wipe externally as needed and dispose of the cloth in the garbage after use. Please do not flush.
